Begin with a baseline attempt across all objectives. If you are comparing study options before you begin, explore our complete practice-test library to find exam-focused resources for your certification. The score matters less than the pattern behind it. Mark guesses, note which features you confused, and group errors by domain. A lucky answer still belongs in your review list.
Read every explanation, including the reasons the other options fail. AB-210 often asks you to choose the best design for a seller workflow, not just identify a feature. A wrong option may be a valid tool in a different situation, so understanding the boundary between two features is part of the preparation.
Next, focus on the domain where your decisions are least consistent. Recreate key tasks in Dynamics 365 Sales when you can. Configure a sequence, inspect scoring settings, map a lead process, or compare the role of each sales agent. Finish with a timed run using the exam’s 120-minute limit.
The official page warns that interactive components may appear. The role-based exam sandbox includes build-list, drag-and-drop, hot-area, active-screen, and case-study formats. The exact AB-210 mix isn’t disclosed. Memorising labels won’t carry you through these items because you must interpret a business requirement, connect several settings, and choose a workable design.
How the question set is built
Each question starts with a published objective. The writer turns that objective into a realistic sales, configuration, or agent-management decision. Relevant Microsoft credential-holders and Dynamics 365 practitioners write and review the material, rather than building questions around isolated product trivia.
The full set follows the exam blueprint. Larger domains receive more coverage, while smaller ones still get enough attention to expose gaps. Every answer includes a plain explanation and a documentation reference. The review covers the correct choice and the distractors, since a believable wrong answer often reveals the exact misunderstanding that causes trouble on the exam.
A second reviewer checks technical accuracy, wording, objective alignment, and whether the scenario has one defensible best answer. When the objectives or documented product behaviour change, the affected items are checked and updated. This keeps revisions focused on what changed instead of replacing sound questions for the sake of appearing new.
The people this credential is designed for
AB-210 is aimed mainly at functional consultants and business analysts who design AI-enhanced sales solutions. A functional consultant should already be comfortable configuring model-driven apps, Dataverse-backed processes, security, and Power Automate flows. A business analyst needs practical experience mapping lead, opportunity, forecasting, and seller workflows into clear system requirements.
Sales operations specialists and Dynamics 365 administrators may also take the exam as their work moves beyond basic CRM administration. They need enough platform experience to judge where automation, Copilot, predictive insight, or an agent fits.
To an employer, the credential signals that you can connect sales goals with a workable Dynamics 365 design. It also shows that you understand the controls around AI-assisted selling, not only the user-facing features. People pursue it to move into Dynamics consulting, strengthen a sales transformation role, or show that their Power Platform skills extend into modern seller workflows.
What the five domains expect from you
The official AB-210 study guide divides the exam into five weighted domains. Read each heading as a set of decisions you must be able to make in a client or internal project.
Configure Dynamics 365 Sales core features for AI (15–20%)
This domain covers the base that AI features depend on. You need to assess deployment prerequisites, configure mailboxes, business process flows and timelines, handle data movement, understand the Sales security model, and connect Microsoft 365 services. Product families, products, currencies, and price lists are also included.
Where candidates slip: they treat price lists as an unchanging requirement. An organisation can make price lists optional, but pricing behaviour then depends on the chosen product and configuration. When price lists remain mandatory, missing the relevant list can stop normal price calculation. Review the price-list setting and its effect rather than assuming every sales record behaves the same way.
Optimize AI-driven sales (20–25%)
This section tests how you design an AI-first sales approach. It includes the Dataverse data model, reporting choices, Sales plans, agent prerequisites, capacity and billing. You also need to configure the sales accelerator, work assignment, conversation intelligence, predictive scoring, relationship intelligence, Copilot summaries, forecasts, goals, and goal metrics.
Where candidates slip: they merge guided work, routing, and prediction into one idea. Sequences guide the next activities. Work assignment controls how records reach sellers. Predictive scoring estimates conversion likelihood. A requirement about ownership should not be solved with a score, and a requirement about next-best activity should not be solved only with routing.
Qualify and prioritize leads by using AI (15–20%)
This domain covers the lead and opportunity experience, predictive lead scoring, and the Sales Qualification Agent. You must know how to choose a mode, configure the agent, interpret what it did, and monitor its work.
Where candidates slip: they confuse Research-only mode with Research and engage mode. Research only supports the seller with findings and prepared outreach. Research and engage can take a more active role in contacting and following up under its configuration. Choose the mode from the level of permitted action and oversight, not from the amount of research needed.
Develop deals by using intelligent opportunity research (25–30%)
This is the largest domain. It combines opportunity products and pricing, the pipeline view, opportunity research, closing activity, agent monitoring, and seller collaboration. The blueprint names the Sales Opportunity Agent, Sales Close Agent, and Sales Research Agent, so you need to match each one to the right stage and business need.
Where candidates slip: they choose an agent because its name sounds close to the scenario. The Opportunity Agent supports opportunity work and research. The Close Agent focuses on closing activity and collaboration. The Research Agent is assessed around research use cases and performance analysis through the research canvas. Start with the required outcome, then choose the agent.
Extend and enhance Sales (10–15%)
The final domain moves beyond the main desktop sales flow. It covers the Sales mobile app, Teams calling, SMS, Power Automate flows, embedded Power Apps components, and embedded Power BI reports.
Where candidates slip: they use extension tools as substitutes for one another. A flow automates a process. An embedded Power Apps component adds an interactive business experience. An embedded Power BI report supports analysis. Pick the tool from the user’s action, timing, and data need instead of choosing the most familiar Power Platform product.
Booking, price, retakes, and renewal
The official certification page lists a US price of US$165 and notes that the fee varies by the country or region where the exam is proctored. Booking is handled through Pearson VUE. The page currently lists AB-210 as a beta exam. During beta, candidates in China, India, Pakistan, and Türkiye aren’t eligible.
A beta exam can be taken only once during the beta period. If you don’t pass, you must wait until it goes live. The live-exam policy then requires a 24-hour wait after the first failed attempt and 14 days between later attempts, with a limit of five attempts in a 12-month period. The credential is valid for twelve months and can be renewed free through an online assessment during the renewal window. A fixed AB-210 question count isn’t published.
Why AB-210 can strengthen your profile
The certification’s value comes from its scope. It goes beyond basic Dynamics 365 Sales setup and doesn’t treat AI as a separate theory topic. The objectives connect data, seller processes, Copilot, predictive features, agents, security, collaboration, and Power Platform extension.
That makes the credential relevant to teams introducing AI into an existing sales operation. It can support a move from CRM administration into functional consulting, or from business analysis into solution design. It can also help an experienced consultant show current knowledge of the newer agent-led sales model.
The badge is strongest when you pair it with evidence of delivery. A small solution design, agent test plan, configured sales process, or demonstration environment gives an employer something concrete to discuss alongside the certification. If AB-210 is part of a broader credential plan, browse Microsoft certification practice tests to compare exam-focused resources across the Microsoft portfolio.
What you receive with full access
Full access opens our complete set of AB-210 practice questions immediately. Each answer comes with a clear explanation and a reference to the documentation used to check it. The review also explains why the other choices don’t meet the requirement, which helps you spot the boundaries between similar features. You can also explore Edurely certification preparation resources from the main platform as your study path develops.
Timed mode lets you practise under exam pressure. Domain tracking shows where mistakes are concentrated, so you can spend your next study session on the objective that needs it most. Your purchase includes 90 days of free updates as the objectives and product guidance change.
You also receive a 30-day money-back guarantee on the purchase. It covers the purchase rather than promising an exam result. Access is available as soon as the order is complete.
Common questions about AB-210
Are these questions taken from the live AB-210 exam?
No. They are original questions written from the published objectives and official product documentation. They don’t reproduce protected exam content. This approach is safer and more useful because it trains you to apply the same skills to new business scenarios.
What score do you need to pass AB-210?
You need a scaled score of 700 or higher. A scaled score isn’t a simple percentage, so don’t assume that 700 means exactly 70 percent of the questions.
How much does the AB-210 exam cost?
The listed US price is US$165. Your final fee depends on the country or region where the exam is proctored. Check the scheduling page for the amount shown for your location.
Can you retake AB-210 if you don’t pass?
During beta, you get one attempt and must wait for the exam to go live before retaking it. Once live, the standard waiting periods and annual attempt limit apply.
How long should you study for AB-210?
There is no single study period that fits everyone. Someone who already configures Dynamics 365 Sales may need focused work on agents and AI features. Someone new to model-driven apps, Dataverse, and Power Automate will need more hands-on preparation. Use your baseline results to set the schedule.
Are the practice questions kept updated?
Yes. The set is checked against the current objectives and documentation. When a change affects a tested skill or an answer, the relevant questions are reviewed and updated. Full access includes 90 days of free updates.
Are practice questions enough on their own?
They’re one of the most effective parts of a study plan because they expose weak decisions and help you practise exam timing. Pair them with the official learning path and hands-on work in Dynamics 365 Sales. That combination gives you a stronger chance of handling unfamiliar scenarios with confidence.
